"We wanted to create something that inspires our children to achieve great things, empowers them to solve problems and gives them the creative confidence to look at the world differently and innovate. And that's exactly what Riva Learning does." - Gobind Bansal, Founder and Lead Teacher.
To be a successful future leader, inventor or creator, an understanding of technology will be a core skill, not a choice. The internet was invented by an English engineer (see more), yet the greatest high-tech and internet businesses are all born out of the US – why? At Riva, we believe that the training to dream big and to invent starts early. With that vision in mind, Riva aims to offer
"the most inspiring and engaging computing courses. Ever".
Our goal is to train our students in computational thinking, which is the ability to analyse problems deeply, break them into smaller parts and creatively apply past experience to solve them.
We have set ourselves very high standards, and everything we do at Riva must excel our already high standards.
Riva was started by Gobind Bansal, who has spent over a decade exploring his love for technology while working alongside the greatest minds at Amazon, Google and IBM. He strongly believes that early education is the most effective vehicle to develop strong leaders for tomorrow. In his own words, "computing knowledge is as essential as learning Maths and English - if not more - in today's highly digital world where computers are driving your cars and ordering your favourite food".
