We use state of the art, educational robots to engage children as they learn computational thinking concepts while having fun. Children will design real world systems such as night lamp that automatically turns on as it gets dark or everyday systems such as traffic lights. As they experiment with robots, computers and design, they will intuitively understand and learn various coding concepts, develop logical reasoning and gain creative confidence.

By the end of the course

  • Learn the fundamental computational thinking concepts by programming robots, sensors and motors.

  • Gain creative confidence as you experiment with design and computers to accomplish meaningful real-world projects

  • Use logical reasoning to design and explain steps to achieve project goals

  • Solve problems in a structured way and develop critical reasoning

Junior Robotics FAQs

Q: I want to know more. How can I get in touch?

We will be more than happy to answer any questions you might have. Please feel free to call us at +44-75398-90926 or email us at learn@rivalearning.com or simply leave a message here

Q: How many teachers would you have in a class?

We aim for 5 students per teacher to maximise learning through collaboration with peers and personal attention from the teacher.

Q: What are the pre-requisites for the course?

Well, as long as your child is curious, she/he will most likely thoroughly enjoy this course.

Q. My child already knows how to code in Scratch/Python. Is this camp still relevant?

Absolutely. It will be great for your child to relate the digital world to the physical world. This course blends creativity and coding to complete meaningful, real-world projects. Prior coding experience, though not essential, can only help accelerate learning.

Q. What equipment do we need to bring to the camp?

All equipment will be provided including laptops, robots, sensors, motors and such. You only need to pack lunch.
